Thanks for your interest in the art of storytelling!

I love being a storyteller, and am always pleased when I have opportunities to share personal stories, world folktales and western history narratives. As a touring performer and workshop presenter, my work has taken me all around the country. I provide workshops and entertain audiences of all ages at schools, libraries, concerts, conferences, festivals and community events. Most recently, I’ve been telling stories to audiences in senior living communities, including people dealing with memory care issues.

Guess what? Summer isn’t too far off and Glenda Bonin, the storyteller-person-lady, and I have been making our plans to take our new SRP show, “Super Hero Squirrely Shirley – Ready to Save the Wetlands,” on tour.

The show is going to be great fun! We will be sharing stories, exciting activities and hints about how everyone can help keep riparian zones in good condition so plants, critters and people can keep enjoying these special natural areas for years to come.

Best of all, I’m putting together a special Riparian Kit for Kids who want to be a Junior Riparian Super Hero along with me. I’ll tell you more about this soon!

We will be performing at libraries all around Arizona in June. Then in July and the first part of August, our schedule will take us to libraries around the Timberland Regional Library System.

So, if you want to see our new super hero show, be sure to tell your librarian so she can book this fantastic 2015 program in your neighborhood!

Your Ready-to-Save-the-Wetlands Super Hero Friend,

Squirrely Shirley
