Thanks for your interest in the art of storytelling!

I love being a storyteller, and am always pleased when I have opportunities to share personal stories, world folktales and western history narratives. As a touring performer and workshop presenter, my work has taken me all around the country. I provide workshops and entertain audiences of all ages at schools, libraries, concerts, conferences, festivals and community events. Most recently, I’ve been telling stories to audiences in senior living communities, including people dealing with memory care issues.

Squirrely Shirley here with a report about our fantastic time last Saturday at The Great Arizona Puppet Theater during National Day of Puppetry (NDoP).
The entire day of puppet fun was awesome! Lots of kids and their parents saw a different puppet show every hour on the hour, and we got to premiere our Summer Reading Program show, “Squrrely Shirley Discovers the Magic of Science,” to a full house at 1:00 p.m. It was SO COOL!

I think the fan base in Phoenix for a certain squirrel (hehehehe – yours truly) is getting bigger every year. Lots of kids and parents remembered the last time we did a show on NDoP and took the time to let me know.
I don’t want to say that their remarks gave me a big head, but I seem to be having trouble getting my protective glasses on. Just kidding!

Anyway, if you were in the audience, THANK YOU. If you could not come to the show, don’t worry there well be other times this summer when we will be traveling around Arizona to share our special brand of science fun.

Stay tuned, and we’ll let you know when we will be in your neck of the woods.

Your friend forever,

Shirley
