Squirrely Shirley
is now part of Story Works Group!

Squirrely Shirley lives in a tree stump and has joined Glenda just in time for Summer Reading and Parks & Recreation Programs. Squirrely Shirley thinks she is not at all creative, but audiences know better and help Squirrely Shirley discover her many talents
– including the ability to play a kazoo!

As a storyteller, story teacher, performer and workshop presenter for more than twenty-five years, I love what I do! I specialize in school assemblies and residency work for grades K through 8. Other areas of expertise include high school and college classes, library programs, conference workshops and community events. My storytelling programs include puppetry, magic, theatre arts and creative writing activities. All programs are tailored to meet the needs and interests of each group. Fees vary and are determined on a per job basis, taking venue, anticipated audience size, program length and number of performances into consideration. |

"Storytelling is a person-to-person experience. It is a time to imagine and share wisdom and truth."

Teachers, librarians and parents - check out the following website for great educational ideas and resources: http://www.teachersdesktop.com |
I have expanded my touring schedule to include more areas around the country. This means schools and libraries can enjoy a significant savings because travel expenses are never added to my program fees when I am on tour.
I am listed as a performer on the following rosters: Alaska Council on the Arts; Arizona Commission on the Arts; Nevada Council on the Arts; North Dakota Council on the Arts; San Diego City Elementary Schools Preferred Performer List; Tucson-Pima Arts Council/Southern Arizona Artist Directory; and the Western States Arts Federation (WESTAF) Arts Register. |
