If you've ever wondered about how a storyteller becomes a storyteller, see the February 1 issue of Tucson's daily newspaper. I am sure you will enjoy this delightful article by Bonnie Henry, one of the most popular feature writers in southern Arizona.

On Monday, June 21 we hosted the entertaining Glenda Bonin and her friend Squirrely Shirley (in fact we had trouble closing since everyone wanted to talk to Glenda or Shirley afterwards). Everyone enjoyed the water safety tips Shirley and Glenda interspersed between their fun tales. Even the two little boys who just couldn't stop talking to Glenda throughout the show demonstrated their love by insisting that they get to come back in the room following their "frequent" parentally enforced exits. Whew. Fun for all! Enjoy hosting Glenda if you get a chance.

As a storyteller, story teacher, performer and workshop presenter for more than twenty-five years, I love what I do! I specialize in school assemblies and residency work for grades K through 8.  Other areas of expertise include high school and college classes, library programs, conference workshops and community events. My storytelling programs include puppetry, magic, theatre arts and creative writing activities. All programs are tailored to meet the needs and interests of each group. Fees vary and are determined on a per job basis, taking venue, anticipated audience size, program length and number of performances into consideration.

I have expanded my touring schedule to include more areas around the country. This means schools and libraries can enjoy a significant savings because travel expenses are never added to my program fees when I am on tour.

I am listed as a performer on the following rosters: Alaska Council on the Arts; Arizona Commission on the Arts; Nevada Council on the Arts; North Dakota Council on the Arts; Tucson-Pima Arts Council/Southern Arizona Artist Directory.
